My attorney office replied back to My I485 query yesterday in the overnight post(today is the last day to respond). For the marriage proof, i attached the marriage certificate which has my incorrect date of birth. I attached the affidavit describing that there is the entry error in the marriage certificate and applied for the correction and as in process with "Registrar of Marriage" office in India. In the meantime, i received the corrected marriage certificate today with the scanned copy. My question is, Can i send my corrected marriage certificate document today to USCIS ? Will they accept with one day delay?

It's very painful to deal with these guys at times.
I also tried asking a finance broker about this and never heard back...
Have you tried apporaching another bank or some broker ?
(I was intrested to know if the can do a intrest only loan for 125% of current value...I would think no.....but perhaps no one has all the details ironed out yet)

Requiring experience in addition to MS degree is considered "normal" for positions in Job Zone V. Whether it's more likely to trigger an audit or not - I doubt anybody will be able to tell you. For that somebody has to have experience of filing two PERMS, almost identical except for the experience requirement. I doubt many people have such an experience
Styrum, thank you for your help. Do you know the situation to apply two perm witht the same company but different position? There is a lot of discusion around and we are really confused.
Thanks.

Dear IV users,
for the first time I/m doing self-filing could you please answer my naive questions?
1. How could I know which service center to file? I have my current EAD with me with the card and attached paper work and it says it is from Nebraska Service Center - so is this the service center I need to re apply?
2. Where can I find the mailing address for this service center?
3. Should I send a copy of my passport and other immigration history documents for renewal?
Please reply at your convenience.
Thank you.

Hi,
I am graduate student in Clinical Psychology. I am going to be working for a state employer during summer. This is mandatory for my program and I will receive 6 credits for it by the end of summer. However, due to some graduate school rules, I will have less than minimum credits to take during the Fall '10 and Spring '11 semesters. I was wondering if I could go ahead and work on CPT during summer (the employment is not paid), but register for those credits during Fall '10 and Spring '11 (breaking it up into 3 credits each) which will ensure my minimum registration.
Also, can I apply for CPT during a semester when I have taken minimum credits required and I am a TA (full 20 hours)?
Thank You in advance. Your timely opinion is appreciated!

Too many times such stuff has been said and always proved to be hot gas from from some politicians mouth.
All this while EB suffers.
An illegal is still going to do a $8/hr job, whether you give him a green card or not. He is still not going to pay taxes because he will get paid in cash. All that will change is that the illegal will be able to send sponsorship for his 50,000 cousins and uncles.
EB will continue to suffer..as always.
illegals often pay tax actually. They work with fake (made up) ssn numbers and the tax
is sent to IRS under that SSN. Lately in bush 2nd term and now Obama they are sending no match letters because the sin umber and the date of birth and name that is reported to IRS does not match with what they have in their system.
However CIR is an impossible task in 2010. Other that some political show by Hispanic Caucus, it has no purpose.

Instead of writing in a common forum, why don't you ask these very personal questions to an immigration attorney?

Friends
This is my situation
I am from Pakistan and I do have Canadian PR also. I applied I-824 on August 5, 2008 and it got approved very fast on January 16, 2008 IN just 5 and half months and I have written that I want to process my case in Toronto Canada not from Pakistan now I have the following question
1-on approval notice the petitioner name and the beneficiary name is the same dont u guys thing the beneficiary name should be my wife name
2-DO all FTJ cases are processed through NVC. Or only some of them... because Islambad embassy accept cases from NVC only they told me that I-824 has to be approved and then UCIS will send your case to NVC and then case will be sent to islamabad but is this the same procedure for canada because I-824 approval notice says that they have notified tornto consulate that I am the permenant resident thats all. I 824 do not have even my wife name?? Can any body tell me clearly that does every body who files I-824 has to go through NVC or in case of Canada we can go to consulate and start the case?
3-If NVC is involved in my case then how long file will stay at NVC and how long the consulate in Toronto will take to complete the process.
I am totally confused a lot of lawyers do not even know that NVC is involved in FTJ cases. These lawyers still say that you can go too directly to start the case I know In Pakistan they accept the cases only through NVC. Even they dont open case with approved I-824? What about in Canada? Do I have to wait to receive some documents from NVC or I can start the case directly in USA Consulate in Canada
Guys please help if you know the answer

Hi All (Please respond)
I was laid off from company A in MAY 2002 (got salary till 31st May), later joined company B from 1st July 2002, so, I think, I was out of status for 1 month, later left company B because of differences on 31st October 2002 (received salary till 31st Oct ) and filed for H1 transfer with other company C on 11th November 2002, I got H1 approval on March 10th 2003, and started working with company C from April 2003 till now, so have 5 months gap between company B and C.
Was I out of status? If yes, looks like I was out out status for 6 months (5months continues plus 1 month earlier), unfortunately this comes to 181 days (june, nov, dec, jan, feb, march).
My I-94 was never expired and I went to India in Feb 2007 and got H1B stamping done and entered US with no problem.
I started my labor with current employer in May 2004 and got I40 approved as well, now filed for 485 in july rush, got EAD and fingerprinting notice, I am worried that my 485 may be denied because of out of status in past.
My Question:
1.Was I technically out of status and unlawfully present?
2.How does 180 days calculated? (continues 180 days or 180 days added in two time span like mine)?
3.If there was any out of status or unlawful present in past, Is it erased after lawful entry in US (I did enter in US this year after H1 stamping in India)?
4.Is Fingerprinting notice assures that everything is fine except security and criminal check?
Please help? I am really tensed after reading few forum, This will be horrible emotional set back for me and my family after 6 years in waiting if our 485 is rejected.

Gurus:
I have a quick question about PERM requirements. I was told by my attorney that if I own my companys stocks, I will be considered a part owner of the company and this will automatically trigger an audit.
My company is a private company and I was given some stock options with very few stocks that I have exercised. I will really appreciate your response.
